HAIKU......Oh Gesundheit

Well for all of the thousands of you that do not know me, I am currently studying in Graz, Austria. I love it here! I came here to brush up on a little German, but I have only seen one midget and she did not look that good. Seriously, she didn' t. In my spare time, I have been writing some haiku in German and thought that the world would be a better place if I shared them with everyone. For those of you who have forgotten everything from your literature classes, a haiku is a Japanese poem that consists of three lines. It is written with 5 syllables in the first, 7 syllables in the second, and 5 syllables in the last. Here is two of my latest auf Deutsch.

Ja ich liebe Bier
Dessen bin ich mir sicher
und das ist Alles

Smack, Smack, Smack, Smack, Smack
Kaugummi macht mich ganz Fett
Schlucht, ich in runter

I did not say they were good, but hey I whattcha gonna do? If anyone has their own haiku, please post them. All languages are accepted and enjoyed. As for the picture, use it for inspiration. Thanks and good luck with the haiku, it is not a easy as it sounds. Posted by Picasa

Beste Fruende den Menchen
So eine Freundschaft
